Hi, I’m Heather Owens—registered nurse, certified fitness professional, life coach, and founder of Sparkle & Sweat. My journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s shaped me into the woman I am today—resilient, passionate, and deeply committed to helping others live their most vibrant lives.
Growing up in a culturally rich yet challenging environment, I learned early on that life isn’t always fair, but it’s what you make of it that counts. I’ve faced my share of struggles, from overcoming childhood trauma to battling limiting beliefs that once held me back. For years, I believed I wasn’t enough—not smart enough, strong enough, or worthy enough. But those challenges fueled my transformation.

I credit much of my growth to three key pillars that now form the foundation of my work: a positive mindset, physical fitness, and a sense of adventure. These three elements—what I call Coach Heather’s Trifecta—along with my spiritual faith have been my guiding light, helping me turn pain into power and dreams into reality.

Positive Mindset: Learning to reframe my thoughts and embrace self-love wasn’t easy, but it was life-changing. By replacing doubt with belief and fear with courage, I discovered that the way we think about ourselves shapes the way we live. Now, I help others do the same—unlocking their potential and finding joy in the process.

Physical Fitness: Movement has always been my therapy. Teaching fitness classes since I was 18 showed me the incredible strength of the human body and how it can heal and empower us. Fitness isn’t just about looking good—it’s about feeling amazing, inside and out.
